Green colour Wind screen and side screen glass replacement

Actually it been thought of changing to new windscreen for a couple years ago but until now I can make it come true. After bought insurance cover for it, then I went to his shop located at MWE Commercial Park, Kepong to replace it. This shop not only can replace a windscreen, but also a supplier for windscreen workshop around Malaysia.

They mark the crack area for insurance claim purpose.

After windscreen been remove, I'm not there when they took out the windscreen.

This is replacement for my windscreen with greenish colour on the top. Double layer of course.

They put a masking tape to make sure the windscreen not moving down for about 24 hours until silicon glue harden.

At last but not least, I also replace greenish side glass (darker glass on rear) with UVS (people said it can filter 99% UV) to lower cockpit temperature during hot evening. With the new windscreen, I also notice great temp reduce inside the car than before.

Ae111 BZR Double Deck armrest modified

Original BZR armrest only have a single deck armrest. Becoz I need more space for a storage, it is good to have double deck armrest.

Since I still kept my double deck from local AE111, it's time to mod it!

1- Mod the screw holes to make wider.

2- Remove the stopper coz it did not fit

3- File the edge of the hinge to make it fit into armrest base

4- Cut the upper drawer coz it also did not fit into the base

5- Here is the side view of the double deck with bzr base armrest

6- View after fit back into car

Replace G-Shock DW-5600 Battery

This is my first g-shock and have served me for the past 8 years. So this thing are really attached to me.
On 4 Dis 2012, this g-shock dead coz battery already flat.

So I've google to search what kind of battery it use. Then found it, CR2016 is the battery type. Bought the battery for RM 8.00. Hopefully it will last for another 10 years. Why ten years? Because g-shock engineers developed this watch to:-
1-will last for 10 years
2-can be drop at 10 meters (or feets which I've forgot)
3-withstand 10 meters (or feets which I've forgot)

First thing is removed the four screws.

After remove inner rubber shock (not in the picture), remove battery clip which hold the battery in place.

It's alive again....

How to diagnose toyota OBD1 error code

1- Turn off engine
2- Go to DIAGNOSIS box and (using wire) jump TE1 and E1 terminal
3- Put IG switch to ON
4- CEL (check engine light) will blink
5- Count and record the blink frequency, example blink 1 time, pause, blink 4 times, pause, and repeated. The error code is 14.
6- If blink frequency cotinuesly without pause, there is no error code stored in ecu
7- To reset the error code, took out EFI fuse for 10 minutes and put back
8- Repeat step 1 to 6 to check if it already reset error code
9- Take your car for a spin and repeat step 1-6 again to check if there still error occur

What's inside power window switch

For a long time, the power window switch are intermittently working for left front window.
Decided to buy a replacement. When got the replacement switch, the switch are not interchangeable. There are slight different between AE111 and AE110 switch.

So can't change it. Then I've decided to dismantle the power windows switch, if lucky I manage to repair it.

A circlip that hold a pin for the cover of the switch.

After remove cover now can see the switch button

Removing all the upper part will reveal the copper circuit. Noticed that a burned mark when the circuit closed. After using it for more than 10 years, the contact pin are not in proper shape anymore. That's why it got intermittent problem.

What I did it reshape the contact pin to a suitable shape, so when push/pull the switch both contact pin are touching the base.

The whole power window switch

Cental lock changed in AE111

 Fisrtly remove internal door  cover  which I've not shown here.
Then remove 4 screws at the door as in the picture. 3 screws for door lock assy and a screw for a glass sliding guide.

Here is the picture of the door lock assy with all links labeled.

Unscrew inner lock to release the link to lock assy.

Remove clip that hold link for outer handle and remove the link

Release clip that hold link for inner handle and remove the link.

Release clip that hold outer key lock and release the link.

That's it. now you can remove door lock assy and replace it. Install it in reverse order.

GPS FIX for Google Nexus Jelly Bean

Since my first android which was a fascinate i I have obsessed with The gps . Finally I managed to get the correct setting but it was time for an upgrade ..Out of the box I was very disappointed with the how long it took to get a GPS lock on my GN ..So after doing my homework and and trying out a few different apps and settings I Finally have it down to a science where I get almost and instant lock !. There is a handy little free app called "GPScompassMap" that you can get at the market . It is an accurate app that tells you how many satellites you are locked into . Before you change your Gps settings do a test and see how many satellites you are locked into .. If your not getting between 8/8 and 11/11 then this is for you !Of course make a backup .

The only settings that will be effected are your GPS settings .

By the way you will never have to purchase another GPS app again . I am not asking for donations ..Just click like or make a comment .. 


For some reason for the most part "angy GPS" is not opening up for a lot of people .This app is not a necessity just a tool . you do not need any apps for this configuration to work . By the way people are reporting that this is working for everyone not just CDMA .. Once again make a backup and enjoy your tweaked out GPS settings !
